Protest can be personal or political, private or public. Artist Vinca Petersen will host a day of collaborative talking, listening and making, exploring the question How do we protest? How To Protest, Thursday 31st August, 3.30pm to 7pm, GWL, £10/£5/FreeThis will be a two hour conversation, with opportunities to move around and speak in smaller groups, followed by a two hour creative workshop. Expect a relaxed event in a space designed to encourage creativity, guided by a group of people with different experiences of protest. Accessibility
Glasgow Women’s Library is wheelchair accessible, with lifts to the first floor and the Mezzanine Floor. We have accessible toilets and all the bathrooms are individual closed stalls and are gender neutral. Our larger Events Space is fitted with an induction loop.
