GWL Origins: Graphic Design at GWL Exhibition, Saturday 29th July 2023 to Saturday 14th October 2023
From our inception GWL have designed our own promotional materials to communicate a message of welcome. As part of our 30th anniversary programme this exhibition explores our feminist design ethics and documents the evolution of our graphic design aesthetics including signage, posters, programmes, leaflets, merchandise, and publications.
Join us on Saturday 9th of September as we welcome two of GWL’s former Graphic Designers in Residence, Rachele Dunn and Kirsty McBride, to talk about the importance of intersectional practice and the need for organisations and designers to be inclusive in their ethos. Find out more here.
Accessibility
Glasgow Women’s Library is wheelchair accessible, with lifts to the first floor and the Mezzanine Floor. We have accessible toilets and all the bathrooms are individual closed stalls and are gender neutral. Our larger Events Space is fitted with an induction loop. A portable induction loop is also available.
