The Sharing Heritage lottery funded project, Women Making History in West Dunbartonshire, reaches it’s conclusion with launch parties, workshops and exhibitions throughout August, with the chance to view the memory box developed by the group which celebrates women’s lives in West Dunbartonshire in the 50s and 60s and aims to ensure that local women’s history, and its importance in shaping our heritage is recognised and preserved.
There’s still time to get involved if you’d like to join up and help the group on Wednesday afternoons, or there’s a chance to come along to the launch and workshop events.
