Cast: A lovely group of women of all ages and interests. In short: you.
Plot: The lovely group of women are drinking tea and enjoying an informal reading of fascinating plays. Some are playing various parts: a militant suffragette with a penchant for fire-raising, a New York society lady with a grudge, Charlotte Brontë and ‘cleaning lady, with bucket’.
No acting skills or prior knowledge are required and some women are simply listening and being entertained.

This event is women only and we prefer for tickets to be booked in advance whenever possible. This event costs £2 full price. We offer subsidised free places for students, people on a low income, unemployed or those in receipt of benefit and Friends of GWL.
