Our fabulous Drama Queens sessions are back for an encore! We will be exploring some of the all-women plays in our archives, from powerful suffragette plays, through wonderfully dated 1940s comedy sketches, to kitchen sink dramas and campaigning Women’s Liberation plays.
Come to all the workshops this summer, or just some. Please book at the end of this page for Thursday 7th July or for other sessions please book at the web links below. Drama Queens Workshops also take place on:
Thursday 16th June, 5.30pm to 7pm
Thursday 28th July, 2.30pm to 4pm
Thursday 25th August, 5.30pm to 7pm
No acting skills required. Just enjoy an informal play reading without the stress of learning lines or the goosebumps of performing on stage. And you don’t even need to read out loud! Previous Drama Queens have told us it was “Great fun reading the plays together – something I’ve never done before.”
Whether you come to just one session or to all of them, we guarantee tea, cake, dramatic fun and no stage fright.
