In November 2013 we relocated to our permanent premises following several years in temporary accommodation. We are now the sole occupant of a beautiful early twentieth century Grade B Listed Carnegie Library in the heart of Glasgow’s increasingly vibrant East End.
We will complete a major renovation project on the building this year. The capital works will unleash the full potential of this unique organisation to deliver new, fresh artistic programmes of events and learning opportunities within its new venue, as well as showcasing the best from our museum, archive and library collections.
Visit us and be one of the first to see the wonderful refurbishment of our new events space in all its glory. Drop in between 10am and 5pm, or why not join one of our Women’s Heritage Walks over the weekend? Our Women of the Merchant City Heritage Walk takes place on Saturday 19th September from 12pm to 2pm or our East End Women’s Heritage Walk takes place on Sunday 20th September from 2pm to 4pm.
To find out what other events are part of this years Doors Open Day Festival please visit the festival’s website.
