In our increasingly tumultuous age it’s often hard to find the stories of real human experiences amidst sensational headlines and fear mongering statistics. Freedom for all will never cease to be a relevant conversation. Document Human Rights Film Festival goes behind the headlines in an effort showcase films that challenge the status quo.
Document is returning for its thirteenth year as Scotland’s longest running human rights film festival in 2015. Although the festival runs from the 16-18 of October at the CCA, you will get the chance to preview selections of the film programme at venues around the city in the week leading up to the festival. The Glasgow Women’s Library will play host in the east end – where you can easily access a sampling of films you can watch for free! The films on offer will directly address issues facing women around the world.
There is no need to book, please pop in to the library during the week of 12th October for your chance to sample some of the films in Document Human Rights Film Festival.
