This is a chance to catch up on what has been done so far and what the plans are for the next two and a half months.
Who are the women in Dennistoun’s past? Maybe you know a Dennistoun woman whose story deserves to be remembered? In this exciting project, we’ll discover these hidden histories and then help to develop a new women’s heritage trail and booklet. You can meet new people, take part in creative arts and crafts sessions inspired by Dennistoun stories and learn new skills in discovering local history.
“I really enjoyed…meeting new like-minded people and making new friendships, sparking memories of good times, the opportunity to share … and gaining …an appreciation of how things were for female family members and other women” East Dunbartonshire women’s heritage project participant
