POSTPONED: GWL Champions Open Night

Please note that due to weather related problems and travel disruption, this evening’s Board / Champions Information Evening is POSTPONED.

The application form to apply to join the Board will be available to download from our website from Monday 9th December.

We will hold the information evening on Tuesday 21st January 2014, 6pm-8pm at GWL.

The deadline for completion and submission of the application form will be Friday 24th January.

We will hold interviews on Wed 5th and Thurs 6th Feb (times to be confirmed)

Glasgow Women’s Library wants to expand its team of Non-Executive Directors

What an exciting time to become involved with a unique organisation in Scotland.

With recent relocation to permanent premises and a capital renovation project imminent, GWL would like to extend an invitation to women to join our Board of Directors.

We are holding a ‘Champions’ Recruitment Information evening in GWL’s new premises at 23 Landressy Street, Bridgeton on Thursday 5th December, from 6pm to 8pm, aimed specifically at those interested in joining the Board and championing GWL.

‘Champions’ can support GWL in all sorts of ways, for instance by promoting our ‘Friends’ scheme. Or you might be interested in supporting GWL in other, more informal ways.

We are looking for women with a real belief in and passion for the work of GWL and ideally with skills, knowledge or experience in museums, HR, marketing, finance and fundraising. We would also love more diversity on our Board too and aim to recruit more BME and young women.

The evening will be an informal gathering, a chance to meet the GWL team and be inspired to play an active part in GWL’s bright future.
