Book Week Scotland Guided Tours of GWL at 10am or 2pm

We’re offering inspiring guided tours of our beautifully refurbished building at 10am and 2pm (45mins). Discover some of the wonderful gems in our Collections, including girls annuals, rare books and knitting patterns.

Book Week Scotland is a week-long celebration of books and reading, taking place from Monday 23rd November to Sunday 29th November, and this year’s theme is Transformation. It’s our first Book Week Scotland in our beautifully transformed new home, so we’re celebrating in style. Throughout the week, we want to hear your voices, views and visions on books reading and the future of GWL. Pop into the library or visit our website and tell us what reading means to you, wax lyrical about your favourite book, or share the impact GWL has had on your life.  We’d love to know what makes us unique and what we do best, but also what we could offer and do better.
