All Women Poetry Slam

Wild Scottish beaches, belly buttons, sherbert sweeties; no subject is off limits for the performers at our All Women Poetry Slams. Whether you’re a newbie or a poetry slam afficionado – this is a chance for women of all ages, backgrounds and levels of experience to perform and compete, or simply come along and enjoy the show!
All Women Poetry Slam, Friday 9th June, 6.30pm to 8.30pm, Out of the Blue Café, Edinburgh
Hosted by award-winning writer and spoken word poet Carly Brown, this slam promises to be an incredible night of spoken word so book early to avoid disappointment. If you’d like to compete in the slam, call us on 0141 550 2267 for more information or e-mail your name and contact details to rebecca.jones@womenslibrary.org.uk. Performers’ names will be randomly selected and the deadline for registering to perform in the slam is midnight, Monday 5th June, so get in touch soon!

Attendance at this event is open to all (16+) and performers are women only. Please book below (you will be taken through the shopping cart but no charge will be made) or you can call us on 0141 550 2267. If you have booked a place and are no longer able to attend please let us know so that we can make your place available to someone else.
