Join us for an afternoon of personal stories, performance, African food and a special Scottish-African Bookbug session for pre-school children.
Come along to this welcoming afternoon celebration. The exciting programme of the day includes a performance by Sister collective, a discussion on Karibu’s work, a warm introduction to GWL, a Bookbug session of Scottish and African children’s rhymes and stories, and a dance performance alongside food by Soul Food Sisters and personal testimonies.
There will be a creche from 12pm to 2pm. There are limited spaces and these will be provided on a first come first serve basis.
This event is in partnership with Karibu Scotland and marks Refugee Week Scotland.
