Studio Class with Belinda Gilbert Scott

Belinda offers a 2 hour drawing or painting class to one student at her studio in Kinning Park where all basic materials will be included. The primary concern will focus on the concept of looking- the class will be about studying and observing learning how to draw or mix colours.

‘Horsebreaker and Colt’ (2008) is a hand coloured stone lithograph on somerset velvet paper measuring 39 x 30.5 cm. The print was co-published with Edinburgh Printmakers workshop and it is hand numbered by the artist from an edition of 24.

Stephanie Spindler – ‘Nuture/Shelter’

‘Nurture /Shelter’ is from a series of 15 entitled ‘Mourning Spoons’. It is a hand made paper cast from recycled cotton denim. Stephanie has said ‘the work is inspired from a theme of feminine identity, eluding to the intimate experiences of life from nurturing the body to death’.
