The first week of June marks Volunteers’ Week and to celebrate Glasgow Women’s Library launched its first ever film showcasing volunteers’ contributions and sharing with the rest of the world just how fantastic volunteering is!
Featuring interviews with volunteers involved in a range of projects, from tour guiding, to reception work and archiving, this film asked women who currently volunteer with Glasgow Women’s Library to explain in their own words their reasons for volunteering, what they enjoy about it and they ways in which they support the organisation.
