What’s On at GWL

The Glasgow Women’s Library Autumn Winter 2011 What’s On Twentieth Anniversary Special is now live on our website! Click here to view an online version or visit our Calendar of Events here. Copies are also winging their way to local Glasgow City Council Libraries and various venues across the city – you can also pop in and pick up a copy from GWL at 15 Berkeley Street, Glasgow G3 7BW.

It’s the Library’s twentieth anniversary on Wednesday 21 September 2011 and to mark this wonderful milestone we are launching a year of events, exhibitions and celebrations!

The new programme also has some wonderful ‘Women’s Words’ events, giving opportunities for reading, sharing and discovering a world of women’s writing. Our ever popular ‘Women Make History’ events will continue across Scotland where we will be giving you the chance to explore the hidden histories of Scotland’s women. Our ‘Festivals, Launches and Screenings’ events will see more exciting collaborations in Glasgow and across Scotland in women’s film, arts, writing, zines, history and so much more!

This is out busiest programme to date and we hope you will be a part of it.
