Lesley Anne Derks is an established cityscape painter, graduating in 1999 from GSA and has exhibited worldwide.
Her paintings are based on places she has visited and her aim is to produce work that allows the viewer to experience their own version of the subtleties of movement, light and sound that she experiences when producing the work.
Lesley Anne’s work has appeared in articles and a range of publications, most recently the Scottish Magazine which listed her in the top 10 artists currently painting Scotland.
In 2008 she signed with Washington Green Fine Art who produced 10 limited editions of her work. “New York Dreams” based on her experience of Manhattan is one of these editions.
Currently she paints full time in Larbert, teaching one afternoon a week for Artlink Central. Her work can be viewed on www.laderks.co.uk
