This image of Glasgow School of Art is hand printed on selenium toned fibre paper and is taken from a black and white negative. An iconic scene of Glasgow, The print is only the fourth to ever be released from a small limited edition.
Martin’s exhibition pieces have been purchased by international institutions and private collectors and are part of permanent collections including ‘Glasgow Museums and Art Galleries’. His work was included in ‘Scotland Calls – 100 Years of Scottish Photography’, which commenced in Boston, then toured internationally.
A major solo photographic exhibition was staged at Kelvingrove Art Gallery Glasgow entitled “Barras People” and was awarded the Sunday Times Critic’s Choice Top Five Art Exhibitions in Scotland. The exhibition was previewed by BBC Scotland’s Ex-S arts documentary.
