Fiona Watson initially started out as a student of biological sciences and worked for medical journals before studying printmaking at the Glasgow Print Studio. She has said of her work ‘the patterns, rhythms, forms and colours of nature in a microscopic sense have always fascinated me’.
‘Cake’ (2009) is an original digital print on 330g Somerset paper, 45 x 45 cm. The lucky highest bidder on this item will also receive a big bag of scrumptious Tunnocks Tea cakes, the perfect accompaniment!
