Wendy is emerging from the mountainous terrain of books unearthed behind the Red Curtain on the 5th floor. Thousands of unfeasible titles will be released on an unsuspecting public at the Relocation Book Sale on 27th May (11am-4pm at 53 King Street, opposite the 13th Note).
The bathroom, microwave and general surface areas of the Library have finally been given over to the forces of nature. The last stand against stour, flood and pestilence crumbled in the face of GCC workpersons assaults with hammers, chisels and drills ‘testing’ the beams in the office and music section, and all we can do now is cling on for the remaining weeks and attempt to protect visitors and strangers from faling plasterwork. Yep, time to move on…
