Women Make Heritage!
Glasgow Women's Library 23 Landressy Street, GlasgowWorking with artists Rachel Mimiec and Fiona Dean, East Dunbartonshire Women’s History Group have explored local women’s stories, creating unique shawl designs. This exhibition gives us a glimpse into women’s work including weaving, spinning, mining, leadership and philanthropy, accompanied by portraits of the women as researchers and designers.
Take Over Tent for Revolting Women
George Street, Edinburgh George Street, EdinburghThe Take Over Tent for Revolting Women (created in honour of militants and mavericks from 1918-2018) will be popping up at Edinburgh International Book Festival with the intention of making feminist waves whilst providing an inspirational oasis for writers, readers of all ages and groups including many making their first Festival foray.
