Cycle gently along the Clyde from the Riverside Museum in the West to the Velodrome in the East and learn from our tour guides about some of the women who made, and are making, Glasgow cycling history. Please bring your own bike.

This event is now fully booked. You can still pick up a copy of our Women’s Hertiage Bike Ride map from the Library, we are open Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 5pm and 7pm on a Thursday.

Glasgow Cycle Festival

The Glasgow Cycle Festival is a partnership with GWL, Free Wheel North, CTC and the Glasgow Bike Station. Thanks to funding from Celebrate, the festival will showcase a wide range of cycling groups and opportunities around the city, offering plenty for existing, new and returning cyclists. To coincide with the forthcoming Commonwealth Games, we have a full programme of events, rides and social events to help celebrate the Commonwealth Games coming to Glasgow.
