Women and the economy in a post election Scotland: SWBG

This event hosted by Scottish Women’s Budget Group at GWL asks, ‘What will happen after the Scottish Elections? How can we ensure the new government keep equality at the heart of its economic policy? What can women and women’s organisations do to work together?’

Saturday, 14th May, 12pm to 4pm

Scottish Women’s Budget Group and the UK Women’s Budget Group are facilitating a small workshop for local women to engage in discussion on the realities of economic decisions – in budgets, in welfare and public service reform, spending cuts, and taxation. Pollyfrom UKWBG will be facilitating this workshop as part of a series of sessions including South West England, East Anglia and now Scotland.
Details for you to share with others, put in your diaries, and register you or a woman who’s not engaged in these issues before will be coming soon.
