Music and Liberation photo by John WalmsleyWomen’s Liberation, Music Making in the UK, 1970 to 1989 exhibition curator Dr Deborah Withers will be on hand to give a guided tour of the exhibition.

The Message was in the Music: Workshop and Exhibition Tour
Saturday 3rd November, 1.30pm to 3pm (free)

Come along to hear more about the stories behind the exhibits and listen to music together. There will also be a chance to uncover related musical items in our collections with our Archivist.

Why not come along to our  Space for Song singing group where women will be singing songs around women’s liberation at 11am to have a day full of music and liberation.

The exhibition is open Monday to Friday, 10am to 4.30pm (or by appointment) and there will be a special  Sirensong open mic launch night on Monday 29th October.
