Story Café Special: Hallowe’en Harpies, Thursday 25th October, 12.30pm to 2.30pm, 16+
An eerie presence on one of the world’s tallest mountains. A haunting through the eyes of the ghost. From Michelle Paver to Mary Shelley, Angela Carter to Hilary Mantel, visitations, hallucinations and uncontrollable creations, we’ll lose ourselves in chilling extracts from sci-fi, horror and ghost stories by women writers.
Bring along your lunch and come with us as we explore the supernatural, the scary and the spine-tingling in this Story Café Special.

Booking
This event is open to all and we prefer for tickets to be booked in advance whenever possible. This event costs £2 full price. Select the number of tickets you want to book below, or come in to the Library to book. We offer subsidised free places for students, people on a low income, unemployed or those in receipt of benefit and Friends of GWL.
