This year, we’re taking our Bold Types Creative Writing Showcase online, and we’d love you to join us! Be dazzled by our bold shortlisted writers, as they read out their stories and poems on this year’s theme – FUTURE.

Bold Types: Creative Writing Showcase, Thursday 19th November, 6pm to 7.30pm, Online, 16+

Our wonderfully supportive and encouraging panel of judges include acclaimed poet Theresa Munoz, recipient of the Muriel Spark Centenary Award; poet and writer Pamela Beasant, Director of the annual Orkney Writers’ Course, and GWL’s own librarian, Wendy Kirk. Winners will be announced on the night and prizes include a one-to-one mentoring session with one of our judges and a selection of covetable books!

This is one of our “attend” sessions this Autumn – sit back, relax and hear some bold and brave new writing!
