‘Letters form words that build sentences that shape people.’ – From Standing on the Shoulders of Giants, by Create and Connect Summer member Laura Lodahl.
Our Create and Connect meets for four sessions of an immersive creative writing programme in Edinburgh. We meet one Saturday morning every month to read, discuss, do writing activities together and share our work. Our Spring dates will be released early February but you can find out more about the workshops by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
This event is for open to all and is free to attend. Please book through the Scottish Poetry Library website here.
This event takes place at Scottish Poetry Library. Here is some information on access below and please find further details in Euan’s Guide.
You do not need to negotiate any steps to get into the library. Please be aware there is a steep slope up from Holyrood Road, and a gentle slope down from Canongate. Cars can drop off visitors at the door of the library, by driving up Gentle’s Entry Holyrood Road. The Canongate access is blocked to cars by a bollard. There is a push pad which can be used to open the front door, but should you want to alert staff attention please call 0131 557 2876. A lift connects all three levels of the building. There are two gender neutral toilets in the Library and there is a portable hearing loop which you can use when talking to staff or for events.
