Clydebank Women’s History Group

P1020200resizedThis friendly group will help you to develop your skills in researching local women’s history and is suitable for beginners and experienced alike. Come along, find out about the local women who have shaped West Dunbartonshire and share your own stories and memories.
Wednesdays, 1pm-3pm, at Centre 81, Braes Avenue Clydebank
Wednesday 17th July for 5 weeks till 14th August
The group will meet for a short 5 week course this summer. We will be looking at the history of local women in West Dunbartonshire and (since it’s summer!) going on a few outings, including St Mungo’s Museum of Religious Life and Art, the People’s Palace and the Mitchell Library to see some treasures relating to women’s history.
