Unfortunately we have had to cancel this event due to low take up. If you had been thinking of coming along or know of anyone who was please pass on this information as it will no longer be going ahead – this is a great example of why we ask people to book in advance, it allows us to gauge interest and stops us from having to cancel events like this, such a shame as we were looking forward to working with some up and coming writers from Linen Press. If you had been planning to come along but had not booked a place please contact us so that we can make a note of anyone interested.

Most literary establishment prizes are handed to male writers, leaving the lyricism of the female voice unheard and unacknowledged. We want to celebrate those voices in all their individuality and wisdom – to showcase female writing across its wide spectrum, from emergent writers to those who are well known.
So bring along your favourite book by a female author, have a chat with the writers from Linen Press and maybe swap your book 4 someone else’s!
