Join our amazing archivists for a new series of drop-in events that will open the doors of the stores to share some of the surprising and varied collections we have in the GWL Archive.

Feminist Anti-Violence Campaigning, Saturday 1st July, 12pm to 4pm

Feminist responses to violence against women have a long and fascinating history in Scotland. As part of our project Speaking Out: Recalling Women’s Aid in Scotland, the archivists who have been capturing this important heritage will be spotlighting an array of anti-violence themed posters, photographs, and badges from our collections. There will be discussion on some pioneering feminist campaigns, and (of course) badge-making over tea!

Find out more about our June Open Archive drop-in here.

This drop-in event is open to all and there is no need to book. To find more information on visiting GWL, head to our Where to Find Us page.
