Glasgow Women’s Library is a unique resource in Scotland, housing a huge collection of materials by, for and about women. We are a museum, an archive and a library and our collection celebrates the lives of women, charting their historical and contemporary achievements and contributions. We are the only Accredited Museum dedicated to women’s history in the whole of the UK and alongside our lending library, archive and museum collections, we offer innovative programmes of public events and learning opportunities.

This role requires attention to detail, a creative approach to challenges, and the ability to manage a wide-reaching workload. This job may be for you if you enjoy working with systems, streamlining procedures, supporting access to events, love being part of a busy team and care about empowering, supporting and celebrating women.

Applications will be accepted from women only under Schedule 9, part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

We particularly welcome applications from Women of Colour, disabled women, women living locally in the G40 postcode, and women who are often excluded from cultural spaces.

Glasgow Women’s Library is a feminist and change-making organisation and the team is imaginative, dedicated and hugely supportive of each other – would you like to join us?
