Duke St Prison Umbrella stand
Reputed to have been painted by Suffragettes imprisoned in Duke Street Prison in Glasgow, this umbrella stand is one of the jewels in GWL’s Accredited Museum Collection.

An exciting and challenging post, we require a qualified, experienced and highly motivated Curator to manage, develop and care for the collections held at Glasgow Women’s Library, make items accessible to broad audiences and train volunteers in Museum related skills.

You must be a graduate with an appropriate professional qualification, hands on curatorial experience and enjoy working with a broad range of people.

Fixed Term Contract, initially until 31st March 2015
Part-time, 14 hours per week
£27,780 (AP5, SCP 32) PRO RATA; Plus 6% Employer’s Pension Contribution
