What’s On at the Library: February to May 2014

What's On February to MayFebruary is just around the corner, which means a new What’s On guide from us here at Glasgow Women’s Library. We have some really interesting events happening over the next few months, including a talk from the editors of Russian Lesbian Journal, Ostrovour Illuminated Letters project will culminate with an exhibition at the Gallery of Modern Art for International Women’s Day and we will be launching our beautiful 21 Revolutions Publication at a range of venues across Scotland.

Our wonderful Read, Relax, Recharge group starts up again on Thursday 6th February, and great news, they are expanding with a new tea time group that will be taking place Thursday evenings from 5.30pm to 7pm for all those who can’t attend the lunch time group.

We are involved with several festivals again this year, starting with a screening of The Steamie as part of the Glasgow Film Festival in February. We also have events in Aye Write, LGBT History Month, Dundee Women’s Festival and more…

All events are detailed in our printed brochure which you can pick up from the Library now and copies will be winging their way across Glasgow thanks to our wonderful team of volunteers on bikes. Also check your local Glasgow Life Library for copies and let us know if they have run out so we can replenish their supplies.
