- gain practical hands-on experience of archives
- meet other volunteers
- visit other archives and museums
- have a go at cataloguing
… then come along to our archive taster sessions!
These will take place on Mondays, 2-4pm, from 1st November to 13th December 2010.

1st November: Introduction to archives and object handling, box-listing
8th November: Photographs
15th November: Re-housing, sorting and box making
22nd November: Introduction to online resources
29th November: Introduction to cataloguing
6th December: Visit – tbc / or researching people, places and organizations
13th December: Visit – tbc / or researching people, places and organizations
