Through theme based conversations across generations of migrant families, we make links between nature, homelands and heritage. We hope to create a publication of words and photography that captures migrant journeys of generations of women living in Scotland.

It has such deep meaning, especially when feeling lost or not part of anything. It reminds us all we are all connected. You interpret what you need in this poem.

Ingrid recommends:
Late October by Maya Angelou

Late October is a great poem describing autumn, what colours, what sounds and drama. Then it turns to relationships and ends so encouraging: we begin to stop in order simply to begin again. So simple, so great, so comforting. What a poem to use in a women’s creative writing workshop.
