GWL is putting its wonderful collection of women's fashion magazines on sale to the public in a one-off event. Bargain prices for beautiful relics of fashion's history over the past three decades.

To the relief of its over-burdened bookshelves, the GWL will be hosting a one-off event in order to sell its extensive collection of vintage women’s fashion magazines.

Our Vogue collection comprises of almost 300 issues, spanning three decades of fabulous fashion and four editor-in-chiefs, including the brief years when Anna Wintour was at the helm.

Also in abundance are vintage ELLE, Marie Claire, Q and Cosmopolitan publications dating back to the 1980s. These magazines remain fascinating relics of an ever-transient fashion and popular culture realm.

The sale will take place at Glasgow Women’s Library on Thursday, 19th November, 5-7pm.

All proceeds from the sale will support Glasgow Women’s Library’s move to new premises at the Mitchell.
