Two Decades of Changing Minds

The first of our 20th Anniversary events in 2012 will be the launch of new artworks and writings commissioned by GWL and supported by Creative Scotland and Museums Galleries Scotland.

We have commissioned twenty of Scotland’s foremost women artists and twenty writers to create new work inspired by our unique collections.

Thursday 22nd March
5.30pm to 7.30pm
Tickets are £3.50/free

This event will include readings from four of the participating, best-selling writers - Anne Donovan, Margaret Elphinstone, Karen Campbell and Donna Moore; new fine art print works by artists Claire Barclay and Ashley Cook, as well as a performance by Ellie Harrison.

Be the first to see and hear the wonderful, exciting and fresh creations inspired by your favourite Women’s Library, and meet some of the creators! Some of the treasures from our collection that have inspired the work will also be on display. Refreshments will be provided.
