Read Aloud groupIn the year that Glasgow hosts the Commonwealth Games, GWL is exploring contemporary writing by Commonwealth women.

Fridays, 3rd October to 21st November, 1pm to 3pm (£2/free)

In these weekly sessions we read together stories and poems reflecting women’s experiences from Antigua to Sri Lanka, from Canada to Australia. Join us to discover writers we haven’t heard of before, and along the way learn about women’s lives in the many Commonwealth countries. A relaxed and supportive group.
