March of Women: Taster Session

Join March of Women by popping into one of our taster sessions:
GWL: Tuesday 20th January, 5.30pm to 7pm
The Arches: Monday 26th January, 6pm to 7.30pm
Find your woman from history and hear more about the project and the opportunities to get involved.
March of Women, theatre director Anna Birch will introduce you to the script, A Pageant of Great Women by Cicely Hamilton (First produced at the Scala Theatre, London, November 10th, 1909). You will have the opportunity to find out about the play and the procession to Glasgow Green all being filmed as a short documentary.
Get a taste of this celebration taking place on the eve of International Women’s Day 2015 and decide how you want to get involved.
We need women to process and are looking for a range of volunteers to help such as: stage managers, film and camera crew, lighting and sound, production, ushers, bystanders, and friendly faces!
