In Conversation: Lucy Ribchester, Sara Sheridan and Kaite Welsh discuss Historical Crime Fiction

What do a journalist in the suffragette era, a Bletchley Park code-breaker, and a Victorian medical student have in common? Meet these remarkable women battling against power, patriarchy and pressures of society and their equally remarkable creators.

Historical Crime Fiction, Thursday 22nd June, 5.30pm to 7.30pm

Lucy Ribchester, Sara Sheridan and Kaite Welsh will be talking about the pleasures and pitfalls of writing historical fiction, what draws them to crime fiction and how they give a voice to the voiceless as they discuss research, writing and rebellion.

Booking

This event is open to all and we prefer for tickets to be booked in advance whenever possible. This event costs £2 full price. We offer subsidised free places for students, people on a low income, unemployed or those in receipt of benefit and Friends of GWL. If you have booked a place and are no longer able to attend please let us know so that we can make your place available to someone else.
