DSCN0066Following the Commonwealth Games in 2014, Glasgow Women’s Library has gathered a unique collection of commonwealth women writers which will be showcased at Edinburgh Central Library for the duration of the Harpies Fechters and Quines festival.

Monday 13th – Saturday 25th June
Edinburgh Central Library, George IV Bridge, Edinburgh

The collection will be on display and available to read (reference only). From well-known names such as Margaret Atwood and Doris Lessing to poets and novelists from the Caribbean, Malaysia, Kenya, the Tamil Indian poet Salma and the South African performance poet Toni Stuart – these are just a few of the treasures you’ll find – so drop in and discover some fascinating international voices.
