Dundee Women’s Festival: She Settles in the Shields

This vibrant exhibition from Glasgow Women’s Library records and illustrates the colourful histories of women migrants to the Pollokshields area of Glasgow from the 1950s on.
18th to 23rd March at Central Library, The Wellgate Centre
It provides an insight into family, intergenerational differences, food, fashion, relaxation and celebration, as well as charting the women’s encounters with work, study and the local community.
