Darkness to Light

8th March, 2017, 10:30am to 1:00pm

Free

Darkness to Light is a theatre performance which relates the journey of women moving on from abuse.

Please note that this event was previously listed as beginning at 11.30am, and is now taking place at 10.30am.

Wednesday 8th March, Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, Argyle St, 10.30am to 1pm

Working with women’s groups in the Glasgow Southside, stories of 8 women have been developed to portray their feelings and emotions during their journey. The works form a timeline of incidents showcasing journeys from a place of darkness – turmoil – and gradually, through the women’s own strength, moving on from the abuse to a place of light – peace.

Darkness to Light takes place on International Women’s Day.

In partnership with Diversity Arts and Domestic Abuse Integrated Support Project.

Funded by South East Integration Network
