Solidarity, sisterhood and song – my first two years at GWL
I was hiding in a toilet in Castlemilk when I got a phone call from GWL’s Adele Partick, telling me I’d got a job. Adele was so nice I assumed I had been unsuccessful – but it seemed I really was going to be paid to host discussions about sex. Such overwhelming kindness, pioneering projects, and bold, unapologetic hilarity have become hallmarks of my time at GWL.
