In the unfortunate circumstances that you can no longer attend one of the Women’s Heritage Walks there are a couple of options:
Transferring your booking to another person
Once you have booked a place on one of our Women’s Heritage Walks the booking is fully transferable, so should you be unable to attend but wish to pass your place on to another all you need to do is let us know who will be taking your place. Alternatively, if it is a last minute change then please pass the detail of the walk onto the person taking your place. They in turn will need to notify the tour guide whose place they are taking..
Cancelling your booking
If you need to cancel your booking we need a minimum of 5 working days notice to offer your place up to either someone on a waiting list for that walk, or re-advertise to fill the space. With full notice we can offer you a full refund or you can transfer your booking to another walk in our programme. Please contact us as soon as you know that you can no longer attend.
If you are unable to attend at the last minute then we cannot offer a refund unless there are extreme circumstances, and a decision on this is at our discretion.
In the rare circumstances that we need to cancel a tour
In the unlikely circumstances that we need to cancel a tour then we can offer either a full refund or, where available, we can offer up a space/spaces on an alternative walk. In some circumstances we will try to reschedule the walk to an alternative date.
Upon booking we will request a contact telephone number from you which will be used by tour guides should a walk need to be cancelled last minute. If you do not provide us with a contact number then we cannot be responsible for contacting you with any on-the-day changes.
Please be reassured, we have measures in place so that only in extreme circumstances will we need to contact you last minute. Any other information that you need will be emailed to you (where email addresses are provided) or provided via your preferred method of contact in advance of the walk.
