What a wealth of talented women writers we have living in Scotland.
Our judging panel have been reading over the poems and short stories entered in this year’s Bold Types creative writing competition on the themes of Transformation and Renewal, here’s what they have to say:
“Shortlisting for Bold Types had been a fantastic experience! I’ve found it so fascinating how each writer has taken the theme of Transformation and Renewal and put their own twist on it. What a wealth of talented women writers we have living in Scotland. Very much looking forward to finding out who our winners will be on Tuesday night.”
On Tuesday 24th November, 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm, hear the shortlisted writers read their stories in front of our wonderfully supportive and encouraging panel which will include published writers and Glasgow Women’s Library staff. Winners will be announced on the night and receive their well-deserved prizes.
This event is part of Book Week Scotland 2015, a week-long celebration of books and reading that takes place 23rd-29th November.
