Late October by Maya Angelou

Late October is a great poem describing autumn, what colours, what sounds and drama. Then it turns to relationships and ends so encouraging: we begin to stop in order simply to begin again. So simple, so great, so comforting. What a poem to use in a women’s creative writing workshop.
